Family History Videos

The Tonganoxie Community Historical Society Family History Video Interview Library project was established to:

--  Preserve and share Tonganoxie history
--  Increase community awareness of Tonganoxie history
--  Reinforce family and multi-generational relationships, communication, and     understanding

--  Increase community involvement in the historical society

Video interviews started in 2005 and continue with Tonganoxie residents that trace their ancestors' arrival in Tonganoxie before 1900.  The interviews are professionally video taped, edited, posted to the Internet, and preserved on DVD at the Tonganoxie Community Historical Society, as well as in a bank lock-box for safekeeping.  The DVDs are available for purchase from the Historical Society as well.

You can view some of the interviews online by clicking on the video thumbnails below.  The videos require high speed and/or broadband Internet Connectivity to play.
